Rock Island, IL – The Moline Foundation has awarded a $7,500 grant to Christian Care to support its professional counseling and case management program. This contribution will help Christian Care to permanently transform the lives of the homeless men who go there seeking a better way of life. Like Christian Care, the Moline Foundation has helped thousands within the Quad City community over the years, and their generosity is much appreciated.

Christian Care provides basic needs, such as safe shelter, food, clothing as well as other supportive services, including professional counseling, holistic case management, advocacy, and access to community resources to homeless men in our community and is the only such shelter in the Illinois Quad Cities. The mission of Christian Care is to empower the homeless to make positive changes in every aspect of their lives. For 100 years, Christian Care has been transforming lives.

Christian Care is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that serves homeless individuals, veterans, individuals coming out of prison and those with mental illness. Christian Care's community meal site is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner on weekdays Monday through Friday, and for breakfast and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast is served at 6:30 a.m., lunch at 12:15 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. If you know of someone in need, call Christian Care's Crisis Hotline any hour of the day at (309) 788-2273 or visit online at christiancareqc.org.
