Moline, IL. – Midwest Technical Institute’s School of Cosmetology in the Quad Cities is offering assistance to all students impacted by the recent announcement that Regency Beauty Institute permanently closed all 79 of their campus locations effective September 28th, 2016.

MTI Admissions Representatives are available to help service the needs of any former student of Regency Beauty Institute that is interested in continuing their education as a member of MTI’s School of Cosmetology family.

Holly Buescher, Director of Cosmetology for MTI, believes Midwest Technical Institute is uniquely positioned to help former Regency Beauty Institute students continue their path toward their Cosmetology career.

“Midwest Technical Institute's School of Cosmetology is very passionate about education and preparing students for future careers in the beauty industry. We were saddened by the news that Regency Beauty Institute had closed and the difficult situation the students who attended school there now face in completing their program. We stand ready to assist those students to evaluate transfer options and next steps to continue their education with Midwest Technical Institute,” explains Buescher.

In addition, Midwest Technical Institute’s School of Cosmetology also houses a Student Salon wherein students gain the real-world, salon experience required to secure entry-level employment in the cosmetology field and mature into industry-leading professionals.
