“The Judge Chuck Grassley can’t ignore”

DES MOINES, Iowa – Patty Judge has won the Democratic nomination to challenge Chuck Grassley in November. Judge released the following statement on her win tonight:

“I’m incredibly grateful to my supporters across Iowa who made tonight’s victory possible. I’m ready to begin the next phase of this campaign and challenge Chuck Grassley by holding him accountable for his 42 years in Washington. I got into this race after he refused to hold hearings and fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court, but he has a long record of not being an independent thinker and not doing the right thing for Iowa. Tonight, Iowa took it’s first step toward getting the Senate working again. Iowans can count on me to fight for better jobs and rising incomes for working families, and stop fighting for the wealthy and big corporations who already have enough friends in Washington. I’m looking forward to the months ahead – I’m the Judge Chuck Grassley can’t ignore and I’m ready to make my case to Iowans.”
