Thursday Night at The Figge

Join us Thursday, November 17th at the Figge Art Museum! At 6:45pm, Courtney Lyon, Artistic Director for BQC will share the process behind creating movement based on the illustrations of Gary Kelley. A dancer will join her to add a visual context for shapes based on Paganini's life. BQC will then present a 5 minute piece of choreography by Mrs. Lyon, reflecting the wonderful illustrations in the gallery. The music, shapes, feelings, and colors give tribute to the Life and Legend of Nicolo Paganini, the Dark Fiddler. Naha Greenholtz, Concertmaster of the QCSO will play Caprice number 24, which is considered one of the most difficult pieces ever written for solo violin.

Admission to thiis fabulous evening is free!
