The 51st Quad Cities Criterium will be held on Memorial Day, May 30, 2016 in the Village of East Davenport by the Quad Cities Bicycle Club (qcbc.org). We are adding a new feature that will attract more professional and top amateur racers. In conjunction with the Melon City Criterium in Muscatine we are offering Host Housing for these racers. Host Housing Manager Janette Harrington explains, “Most racing teams have a very small budget, so our free housing on the 28th and/or 29th relieves them of a large expense. My husband, son and I hosted four Midwest racers last year and they were great guests. They were able to eat dinner with us and tell us the inside scoop on their racing tactics. Because they were “our team”, we went to their race in Muscatine to cheer them on and of course we supported them at our Criterium on Monday.”

Families wanting to host racers this year should go to http://quadcitiescriterium.com/housing/.
