It's going to be a spooky, scary Halloween season this October in the Quad Cities area! There are plenty of places and events to put you in the Halloween spirit. From the theatre and ballet to hikes and 5Ks, from parades and haunted houses to kid's activities so they'll get plenty of use out of their costume for the whole month!

Fall Fairs and Markets
Fall brings the crunch of the leaves as you walk or it's the crunch of the first bite in a juicy apple! There are great produce and treasures waiting to be discovered at area farmer's markets, arts & craft fairs, and special events in October.
Fall Foliage Riverboat Cruises
Spend a scenic weekend in the Quad Cities enjoying the beautiful colors and fall activities along the Mississippi River aboard a riverboat cruise on the Celebration Belle. It's a great way to see the leaves in their various shades. This non-gaming riverboat is the largest excursion vessel on the upper Mississippi River and offers a variety of daytime and nighttime cruises. Take an overnight cruise aboard the Riverboat Twilight. Board in LeClaire, Iowa, and cruise to Dubuque, Iowa, for an overnight stay at the Grand Harbor Hotel.Quad City Mallards Celebrate 20th Season
The Quad City Mallards open their 20th season in the Quad Cities when they welcome the Fort Wayne Komets to the iWireless Center in Moline, Ill., on Friday, October 14 at 7:05 p.m. That evening will also see the Mallards don jerseys first worn by the team during the inaugural 1995-96 campaign.
