RAGBRAI starts this weekend for Davenport with the arrival of people parking their cars for the week while they are riding RAGBRAI.  Please let us know if you`d like to set up interviews or live shots.

July 17-18 - Long-Term Parking

 

Location: St. Ambrose University, 518 W. Locust St., Davenport

Information Tent Location: Galvin Fine Arts Center Parking Lot (on campus)

Hours: Friday 12-8 p.m. and Saturday 5-9 a.m.

 

·        Almost 850 vehicles are coming on Friday and Saturday morning to park in their assigned lots for the week while they are riding RAGBRAI.

·        RAGBRAI riders are coming from across the U.S. and Canada.  They will stay overnight in a hotel, with friends, or camping in Centennial Park.

·        Then over 30 motorcoaches depart St. Ambrose on Saturday between 6-9 a.m.

·        300 boxed lunches from Hungry Hobo have been purchased by people riding the motorcoaches to be picked up on Saturday morning.
