Saturday, April 2, Adler Theatre and Sunday, April 3, Centennial Hall
Mark Russell Smith leads Mahler's massive and moving Symphony #2 capping the 101st season with soprano Linh Kauffman and mezzo-soprano Adriana Zabala.  The Handel Oratorio Society and the Quad City Choral Arts will perform, Jon Hurty, Artistic Director. Now known as the “Resurrection Symphony”, it's rarely presented live, as more than 100 musicians and 100 choral members are required to stage this extraordinarily magnificent masterpiece.  However, this Easter season, the QCSO will stage The Resurrection Symphony for the first time in 27 years.  For most, it truly is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.  We invite you to join us.
