April 14, 2016, Bettendorf, Iowa - Congratulations to Rivermont juniors Benjamin Nordick and Emilia Porubcin. They have met the high Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test score requirements to enter the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program. From approximately 1.5 million program entrants, these two Rivermont students are among the 50,000 highest scoring participants.
In the fall of 2016 about 16,000 students will be named National Merit Program Semifinalists from this pool of high scoring students and will proceed to the Finalist competition.
