DAVENPORT — More than 600 St. Ambrose students will participate in a campus rite of fall Sunday afternoon when they grab gloves, rakes and bags and step up to make a difference for SAU neighbors.

Students will gather at the Rogalski Center beginning at 12:30 and then will depart at 1 in groups and teams to fulfill neighbor requests for assistance with fall yard work, clean up and fix-it needs.

This year, one crew of helpers will travel down the Marquette Street hill to provide a hand to valued community nonprofit, Café on Vine.

Bee the Difference Day was founded by members of the SAU Student Government Association in 2006 and has grown from 30 participating students to include nearly a quarter of the school’s undergraduate student population.
