As part of our new exhibition Crossing the Tracks of Time: Quad City Railroad History, we are happy to welcome Dr. Curt Roseman as he speaks on the interesting local history surrounding passenger rail.
Learn about the beginnings of passenger rail in the Quad cities. Hear about the luxury trains, the technological advancements, and the role of passenger rail during wartime. Mr. Roseman presents on this interesting history that came to its end in 1978, but is soon to be revitalized with service in our area to Chicago! Curtis Roseman is professor emeritus of geography, University of Southern California.
