[Halloween Weekend]

Plenty of activities will take place downtown this weekend, and here's a few places ready to celebrate.  Barrel House is hosting a special Halloween themed trivia tonight, and they'll be serving Hot Chocolate during the Halloween Parade on Saturday, too.  They'll have drink specials for the Cubs games, and don't forget about their half-priced appetizers, too.

Speaking of the Cubs, have you seen KilKenny's MASSIVE  outdoor TV screen?  They've got some great drink specials for the games, too.  Of course, Mac's will be showing every Cubs game, as well; there's no shortage of Cubs love downtown!

Me & Billy is hosting the "Boos & Booze" Costume party Saturday night; go dressed to kill and grab a big fat fishbowl!  Analog Arcade Bar is hosting a Halloween Costume contest too with spooktacular drink specials.   Be there before the judging starts at 10 p.m. and grab a $2.50 Coors Light.

It wouldn't be a proper Halloween without a Fresh Deli "Rocky Horror Picture Show and Buffet." Head down to the Freight House for the 5th annual celebration, with a $8.50 buffet and prizes Saturday evening.

Crafted QC and Oh So Sweet are teaming together for some family friendly fun Saturday before the parade. Float over to the bakery to decorate a free pumpkin, a children's costume contest and grab some silly, spooky sweets! Don't miss Figge Art Museum's Day of the Dead celebration on Sunday. The cultural event will include sugar skulls, a mariachi band and delicious authentic foods!

Get out this weekend and have yourself a fang-tastic time!  Keep reading to catch up on even more Halloween events.

Old Shoe will be howling on the Redstone Room stage Friday night with help from Frank F. Sidney's Western Bandit Volunteers. 10 of Soul is sure to give a bone-chilling performance on Saturday. Don't forget to dress  up in your best gear!

[Daytrotter]

On All Hollow's Eve The Dawn will channel their inner Led Zeppelin for a stellar performance at Daytrotter. Soap and Sister Wife will be starting the night off. Put on your scariest, strangest costume on and get the chance to win free swag from the venue and artists!

[Bucktown Center for the Arts]

Head to Bucktown after your work week ends for Final Friday. The Art Meets the River exhibit is open to the public featuring Mississippi River based art from local artists; the 2017 calendars will be for sale in Bereskin Gallery and Boho Chic. Front Street Brewery is spending their Friday evening at Bucktown too with a beer and chili tasting!

[Go Red for Women Luncheon]

Celebrate life and raise awareness for the rising cardiac issues for women at the River Center on Tuesday. Unity Health has teamed with Macy's and the American Heart Association for this year's Go Red for Women Luncheon. It's not too late to register or make a donation!

[David Feherty]

Former professional golfer David Feherty is bringing his talents to Davenport tonight. He may not be golfing, but rather sharing his "Live Off Tour" with us. Hear the NBC Sports broadcaster share his best behind-the-scenes stories on stage at the Adler Theatre.  There are still tickets available for tonight.

[Don't Forget]

This is the last weekend the outdoor component of the Freight House Farmers Market will be up and running for the season. "100 Years of Hollywood" exhibit at the German American Heritage Center will ends on Sunday, and Abernathy's will be closed from Nov 1. until Nov 11. to get ready for their 3rd anniversary and newly designed shop unveiling!
