Music lovers will be in heaven this week with all of the shows downtown, led by Daytrotter Downs hosting 30+ bands through Saturday! Check out the full schedule to plan your week

Tonight in the RME Hall, MVBS presents Cheat You Fair: The Story of Maxwell Street. Head into the Redstone Room later for a show with Sierra Hull with Ghost of Paul Revere.  Friday will feature Drama Major playing a free acoustic show, as well as a CD release concert with Ernie Hendrickson & Dan Hubbard. Sunday brings Jazz to RME, and get ready for Wednesday when the Joe Marcinek Band plays featuring Kris Myers (of Umphrey's Mcgee!).
 Also tonight, head down to the River Center and sip on martini samples from over 25 local bars and restaurants for HAVlife's Martini Shake Off. Mingle for a good cause and get in on the action at the area's largest silent auction. The shake-off is another great event on the YPQC "owning winter" week-long celebration.

The final weeks of winter are upon us and there's no shortage of events happening downtown, beginning with Third ThursdayCraftedQC has a Trunk Show is with The Ruka Shop debuting its Pop Culture Collection.  Interested in trying out the new co-working space? LEGO lovers will unite at the Figge for the Opening Reception of The Art of Architecture. Artist Adam Reed Tucker is one of only 11 LEGO Certified Professionals in the world; you can meet him tonight at the Figge! On Saturday, visit L&D15 for a Saturday Night Social. Mix and mingle with friends, shop and have a cocktail.

The Oh So Sweet Cupcake Challenge continues this Saturday and the theme for this week is Analog Arcade! The eight remaining contestants are making cupcakes that will feature flavors and decorations inspired by our favorite arcade bar, Analog! The call time for public voting is 3:45, $5 gets you eight different cupcakes plus a free beverage.
 Parks and Recreation is hosting a Daddy Daughter Dance at the RiverCenter on Sunday. Dancing is top of the agenda, plus attendees will be treated to a dinner buffet, crafts and a chance to win prizes. A professional photographer will be available.  This event is perfect for dads, uncles, grandpas and step-fathers.
