Third Thursday is the best time to come downtown to see what's new and score exclusive deals from downtown retailers and restaurants. Old Man Brad is making his way out of his garage for a rare public appearance at Crafted QC! He does some pretty incredible work with pallets so stop by, have a beer and see what he has created. Speaking of beer, Endless Brews has a tap takeover with Avery Brewing featuring 23rd Anniversary Ale - plus of course, beer swag giveaways.

You can't go wrong with a cookie celebrating Earth Day, buy one and get one for a friend for free from Oh So Sweet! Hit up Central Perk for a free sample of iced Chai tea! L&D15 will have an artist talk with Randy Richmond. Me & Billy has 1/2 OFF their incredible comfort nachos.  The Spa at Hotel Blackhawk has $5 brow waxes and Great River Brewery is giving away raffle tickets with every pint purchased for a chance at winning a growler! There's much more going around downtown, check out the full list of deals and specials!

Platinum-selling, Grammy-nominated Newsboys is bringing their mega "We Believe... God's Not Dead" Tour to the Adler! Newsboys has helped define the sound of Christian music for more than two decades, catch the show and see why they continue to sell out venues across the country!

Kick off your weekend with piano-driven rock band, Minus Six at the Redstone Room. Chicago Farmer will have his first full band performance in the Redstone! He's been called a modern day Woody Guthrie and he shares his love of his roots with anyone who will listen. Chicago Farmer is a great story-teller and you won't want to miss this show!

Three shows are on the lineup at Daytrotter this week. It all begins tonight with impressive singer-songwriter and piano player, Max Jury! His self-titled debut album is a classic in the making and his precious talent makes him a star on the rise. Catch him here while you still can.  Stop at the venue Saturday for a show with Frankie Lee and as always, start off your week right by attending Moeller Monday!

L&D15 is hosting an Introduction to Silkscreen class. Participants will learn the basics of silkscreening using Andy Warhol's under-painting technique and leave class with a set of custom made postcards. Speaking of classes, have you seen all of the cool things being made at CraftedQC? Making stuff is fun, go check out all the options and sign up for a session!

The River Bandits are away this weekend in Kane County but you can catch them back home during the week for their series against South Bend. Don't forget about the Military Tuesday promotion, all military personnel and their families receive $1 bleacher tickets!
