The United States of America is conducting a nationwide 50th Anniversary Vietnam War Commemoration.  I am proud to chair the local committee coordinating a Bi-State Commemorative parade to be held on May 21, 2016.  This is the only parade to include two states.  A music festival will be held on the Davenport riverfront following the parade.

The purpose of this parade is to honor veterans of the Vietnam War including those killed in action (KIA), prisoners of war (POW), and our missing in action (MIA) for their service and sacrifice and to thank their families.  Our parade will include honor guards from all services, military and school bands, military vehicles and floats carrying our veterans and their families.

Please help us recognize their contributions and sacrifices made by our military for our great country.  You may also choose to participate in the form of a band, a vehicle or float. You may also choose to volunteer or make a monetary contribution.  If you are able to participate in this worthwhile celebration or for further information, please contact me.

Thank you and God Bless America!
