Mercy Waters, a quad cities based charity organization dedicated to providing clean water to those in need, is holding a water drive for the victims of Flint, Michigan. This is an entire city that is suffering from lead contamination. The health of Flint families and their children has been compromised and they are in need of our assistance.
Starting on February 22 through Sat February 27th, Mercy Waters is collecting bottle water and cash donations at all East Moline Fire Stations. Also on February 22 there will be a media event at 10:00 Am. at 1523 Morton Drive, East Moline,IL  Fire Station.
East Moline City Officials along with representatives from HyVee, Green Chevrolet  and Mercy Waters will be in attendance. All local media has been invited as well.
The grand finale of the water drive will be held on Saturday February 27th with Water and cash donations being collected at the following 5 Illinois HyVee stores from 9:00am to 3:00 pm.
