Hello!
Downtown is bustling with visitors here to enjoy the 2012 Annual ISPA State 8 & 9-Ball Championships hosted at the RiverCenter!  We wish good luck to the best pool players battling to be called a champion this week.

Straight No Chaser marks another Broadway at the Adler performance on Tuesday night!  Straight No Chaser has reemerged as a phenomenon with a massive fan base, more than 20 million views on YouTube, and numerous national TV appearances.  Don't miss this unforgettable live act.

From Grammy winner Van Hunt and Steve Martin's band Steep Canyon Rangers, to REO Speedwagon's former front man Terry Lutrell and Cowboy Junkies, River Music Experience's lineup this week features some amazing talent!  Terry Lutrell now heads up the Tons O' Fun Band, and you can't go wrong picking up tickets any of these shows.
Briar Rabbit 2RME will cover even more genres this week with fantastic performances by Briar Rabbit, Yellow DubMarine, and The Diplomats of Solid SoundThe Edgar Crockett Band headlines Third Sunday Jazz, and additional programs include Acoustic Music Club, Songwriters in the Round, Open Mic Night, and more.

Tap in to your creativity and explore a calligraphy workshop at the Figge or visit the museum to see works made by students in our community.  The Figge's Figure Drawing and Japanese Flower Arranging classes are gaining in popularity, too.  For a guided tour, stop in for a  Sunday Museum Tour at 1:30 p.m. and see the War & Remembrance Exhibit before it closes.
Bix BistroCome enjoy an evening of ambiance, cuisine, and brews at Bix Bistro's Four Course Beer Dinner on Thursday evening beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Hotel Blackhawk.  All of the brews are features of Great River Brewery.  Take advantage of even more local food with a trip to the Freight House Farmers Market, too.
Rhythm City Casino will feature live performances by David Smith and The Whoozdads this week, and you can enjoy even more free live music by Orangadang at Brady Street Pub.

See you downtown!
