The QC Hearts and Minds Youth Workgroup of the Quad City Health Initiative is proud to be partnering with the Rock Island County Regional Office of Education and Scott County Kids to bring the Stand Up! Change Teen Statistics theater program to our local schools.

During the week of October 22nd, the Stand Up! cast will give multiple performances of its 55-minute live prevention theater program to high school students across our community.  Presented by the R.Ed.I Arts and Education Foundation, the program provides information, hope and help for youth in managing issues they experience during adolescence.

Where:
Nighswander Junior Theater @ Annie Wittenmeyer
2815 Eastern Ave.
Davenport, IA 52803

When:
Tuesday October 23, 2012 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM CDT

Performances of Stand Up! provide a great opportunity for teens and adults to have open discussions about issues facing youth today.  The Youth Workgroup hopes this program helps to identify and assist kids with mental and behavioral health concerns.  We've arranged for a special performance of Stand Up! to be given for community members and other school personnel/high-school students who would also like to experience this fantastic program live.

We invite you to join us for the Stand Up! Change Teen Statistics Community Show at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23rd in the Nighswander Junior Theater in Davenport.  The performance is free.
