KENOSHA, WISCONSIN (December 4, 2025) — Savannah Reisner from Geneseo, Illinois (61254), attended the annual Society of Women Engineers conference in New Orleans in October.
Carthage College was represented by five students from the engineering and computer science departments.
Kathryn Hasz, assistant professor of engineering, accompanied the students.
The conference attracted 20,000 engineering students and professional engineers.
Between keynote speakers, panels, technical demonstrations, and networking lounges, there were ample opportunities for connection and growth.
This year's theme, "Embrace Your Story," highlighted the value of all the cumulative experiences that make up one's life.
