Wahlberg makes an appearance in Des Moines to discuss his new movie and promote Hy-Vee’s Homefront initiative

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (Jan. 11, 2017) — On Monday, Hy-Vee, Inc. rolled out the red carpet to honor first responders, veterans and military members for a private screening of the new film, “Patriots Day.” Hy-Vee partnered with actor and producer Mark Wahlberg to show the movie to local heroes as part of a fundraiser for the company’s Hy-Vee Homefront initiative.

SPRINGFIELD – Governor Bruce Rauner today released the following statement on Democratic leaders embracing economic changes:

Sen. Chuck Grassley wrote the provisions improving the incentives for whistleblowers to come forward about large dollar tax fraud. The provisions were enacted in 2006, ten years ago. Grassley continuously works to make sure the IRS is welcoming to whistleblowers. The law continues to have positive results, according to the IRS’ latest annual report on the whistleblower program.
