ADELPHI, MARYLAND (February 27, 2023) — More than 9,800 University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) students were named to the Dean's List for the fall semester. To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earned a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (February 24, 2023) — Rebecca Quick ('21) made a valuable contribution to the Monmouth art scene two years ago when she collaborated as an artist-in-residence with Kendall Thompson ('17) on the large, colorful mural on the north wall of Tin Cup Coffee Shop in the 200 block of South Main St.

DUBUQUE, IOWA (February 23, 2023) — The Archway Reading and Lecture Series at the University of Dubuque will host a reading and discussion with author Rachel Jamison Webster at 6:30PM, Thursday, March 16, 2023, in the Multicultural Student Center, Peter and Susan Smith Welcome Center on campus.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (February 22, 2023) — When it comes to her academics, Monmouth College junior Jan Abel has mastered the three R's. The English and public relations double major from Wataga, Illinois, excels in reading, writing, . . . and radio.

Abel was recently named one of five national Next Step Radio Scholars for 2023. The program was launched a year ago to help college students who aspire to have a career in radio.
