Cedarville University Students Achieves Dean's List

Peggy A. Whitson (PH.D.) NASA Astronaut will be visiting to Rivermont Collegiate.

Astronaut Whitson, an Iowa native, flew on Expedition 50/51 which launched on November 17, 2016, and returned safely to Earth on September 3, 2017. During the expedition, she contributed to hundreds of experiments in biology, biotechnology, physical science and Earth science, welcomed several cargo spacecraft delivering tons of supplies and research experiments.

Mid-Year Push to Improve School Attendance

Quad Cities school districts have seen a small decline in the number of students who have been absent for too many days of the school year. National-level research has found that students who miss even just 9 days of the school year have lower grades and score lower on standardized tests.
