The President's List recognizes top students who excel with outstanding academic performance. To achieve recognition, a student must maintain a minimum 3.8 grade point average while enrolled in at least nine credits of regular coursework.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — The St. Ambrose University Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering has been reaccredited and the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering has received initial accreditation by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, the global accreditor of college and university programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering and engineering technology. 

Governor touts education transformation during tour of Illinois schools

In a tour of Illinois schools today, Gov. Bruce Rauner spoke to students about their future while highlighting how historic education funding reform in Illinois ensures equitable funding for public schools, better school choice for families and property tax relief for taxpayers.

COLUMBIA, Missouri (August 29, 2017) - The following students from this area were recently named to the Columbia College dean's list for the Summer Semester (May-August 2017):  Erin Lowe from Port Byron, IL, Online Campus     To be named to the dean's list, a student must have completed 12 semester hours in a 16-week period and achieved a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0-point scale.

First, I would like to thank Senate President John Cullerton and Senate Republican Leader Bill Brady and other members for working together to close the gap on school funding and making sure every child across the state will have access to the best education.

(DES MOINES) – During the administration’s weekly press conference Tuesday, Gov. Kim Reynolds, Lt. Gov. Adam Gregg and Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) Director Mark Lowe urged Iowa drivers to use caution around school buses and reminded them to be on the lookout for children.
