Grassley Fall Internships Available, Applications Due July 21

WASHINGTON – Sen. Chuck Grassley said today that fall internships for college-aged Iowans are available. Applications are due Friday, July 21.

These Senate internships are available in Grassley offices in Washington, D.C., Cedar Rapids, Council Bluffs, Davenport, Des Moines, Sioux City and Waterloo. The fall internship program runs from August 21 to December 15.

CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY WISCONSIN RELEASES SPRING HONORS LIST

Spring 2017 University of Dubuque Dean's List

DUBUQUE, Iowa (July 11, 2017) - The University of Dubuque congratulates the following students on being appointed to the Spring Semester 2017 Academic Dean's List. To be named to the dean's list, a student must earn a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale for that semester.

MINNESOTA STATE MANKATO ANNOUNCES 2017 SPRING SEMESTER DEAN'S LIST

Mankato, Minn. (July 11, 2017) - The Academic High Honor and Honor lists (Dean's lists) for the past spring semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato have been announced by Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Marilyn Wells. Among 3,046 students, a total of 760 students qualified for the High Honor List by achieving a 4.0 straight "A" average, while 2,286 students earned a 3.5 to 3.99 average to qualify for the Honor List.

Local student named to spring Dean's List at Bemidji State University

BEMIDJI, Minn. (July 11, 2017) - Rebecca Pogue from Davenport earned Dean's List honors from Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minn., at the conclusion of the Spring 2017 semester. To be eligible for the Dean's List, BSU students must be enrolled for at least 12 credits and earn a 3.5 GPA during the semester. A total of 1,049 students earned Spring 2017 Dean's List honors from the university.

Taylor Gehrls Named to Spring 2017 President's List at Simpson College

Ascentra Credit Union Awards $10,000 in Scholarships to Ten Area Students

BETTENDORF, IOWA – The Ascentra Scholarship Program is helping ten more future leaders get closer in pursuit of their academic goals to help pay for their college costs.  A total of $10,000 in scholarships is given each year to ten winners, each receiving $1,000.  Five scholarships are awarded to five traditional high school students planning to enter college.  Another five are awarded to non-traditional students including students returning to college,

Mikayla Fritz Graduates from Lakeview College of Nursing

DANVILLE , IL (07/10/2017)-- Mikayla Fritz of Moline, IL, graduated from Lakeview College of Nursing during the College's spring commencement ceremony held in Danville, IL. Fritz earned a bachelor of science in nursing degree through the College's Charleston location.

Fritz is a 2013 graduate of Moline High School.

She is the daughter of Donald Fritz of Coal Valley, IL and Kristin Fritz of Moline, IL.
