DES MOINES, IOWA (January 27, 2023) — Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird joined Utah Attorney General Sean D Reyes and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in a 25-state coalition lawsuit over a US Department of Labor rule which would affect the retirement accounts of hundreds of millions of Americans.

President Gardner began his term on January 1, 2023. DES MOINES, IOWA (January 17, 2023) — Governor Kim Reynolds has announced $40 million in funding to help complete Phase 2 of Iowa State University (ISU)’s Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (VDL).

The Governor has also proposed in her budget an additional $20M from the Rebuild Iowa Infrastructure Fund (RIIF) $10M in FY24 and $10M in FY25 — to total $60M in state support for the VDL project.
