MOLINE, ILLINOIS (September 11, 2023) — WQPT PBS is seeking volunteers for Imagination Station, their biggest children’s event of the year. Held on Saturday, October 14, with thousands of children attending, volunteers will assist with set-up, activity stations, costumed PBS characters, and other fun tasks.

DES MOINES, IOWA (September 7, 2023) — Governor Kim Reynolds and the Iowa Economic Development Authority have announced $5 million in awards to four non-profits that are investing in the infrastructure to increase the availability of food distributed to local food pantries throughout the state. The Iowa Food Insecurity Infrastructure Fund was established to help more Iowans in need get access to fresh, nutritious food.
