DES MOINES, IOWA (July 27, 2022) — Governor Kim Reynolds today announced her appointment of David May as a justice of the Iowa Supreme Court at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines.

May, of Polk City, received his law degree from Drake University Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He has been serving on the Iowa Court of Appeals since 2019. Judge May also served as a district judge in the Fifth Judicial District.

JOHNSON, IOWA (July 25, 2022) — August means it's time for the Iowa State Fair, and for fair coverage on Iowa PBS. This year's programming begins August 10 with a live broadcast of the 2022 Iowa State Fair Parade. On August 13, the network will livestream the 2022 Iowa State Fair Queen Coronation with highlights of the event airing August 14.

DES MOINES, IOWA (July 21, 2022) — Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller called on legislators to pass bills to prevent fentanyl-related deaths.

“We know that many of the overdose deaths are accidental, often because people are unaware they’ve ingested a dose of fentanyl,” AG Miller said. “We have tools available that could reduce these deaths, but we must first change Iowa’s laws.”
