State Auditor Rob Sand Releases Statewide Single Audit

DES MOINES, IOWA (September 29, 2022) — Auditor of State Rob Sand has released the State of Iowa’s Single Audit Report for the year ended June 30, 2021. The report covers the expenditure of federal funds by all State agencies, institutions, and universities and includes a review of internal controls and compliance with federal laws and regulations.

Gov Kim Reynolds Appoints Erik Howe as District Associate Judge

DES MOINES, IOWA (September 27, 2022) — Governor Kim Reynolds today announced her appointment of Erik Howe as a district associate judge in Judicial Election District 5C.

Howe, of Polk City, Iowa, currently serves as an Assistant Polk County Attorney. He received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and his law degree from Drake University Law School.
