On Friday, May 19, Canadian blues musician Chris Antonik will perform at The Redstone Room in Davenport, IA (129 N. Main Street). Chris is on tour in the US promoting his new album, "Monarch," which All About Jazz calls "big R&B filtered through a Canadian cloth, captured with perfect sonics."

DAVENPORT, Iowa — The Wartburg College Wind Ensemble will perform Monday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m., at Assumption High School, as part of its Midwest tour.
Cody Birely of Davenport plays percussion, and Mallory Weaver of Bettendorf plays clarinet in the ensemble. Free-will donations will be accepted at the door.
WASHINGTON -- America's Navy is coming to Bettendorf, Iowa, one of 18 cities in eight states to host a performance by the United States Navy Band during its 2017 tour -- one of the signature outreach programs of the U.S. Navy.
The United States Navy Band Sea Chanters performance is scheduled for April 27, 2017, at 7 p.m. at Bettendorf High School.
Masterworks VI: St. Matthew PassionApril 8 & 9, 2017
Reflect on Lent and Palm Sunday weekend with two performances of Johann Sebastian Bach’s masterpiece St. Matthew Passion. This emotionally charged work presents the interactions of Jesus and the Evangelist, and features two orchestras, two choirs, two organs, and six vocal soloists to enhance the enjoyment and inspiration of all, this work will be performed in English.
The Mississippi Valley Blues Society presents the Golden State – Lone Star Revue featuring an all-star, cross-country melding of musicians. These five masters of blues will be playing at RIBCO, 1815 2nd Avenue, Rock Island, IL on Monday, April 10 starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will only be sold at the door for $20/Mississippi Valley Blues Society members or $25 non-members.
They are signed to a German rock’n’roll label called Hound Gawd Records. He’s got a very cool roster akin to labels like In The Red, Sympathy and Mans Ruin (RIP). Releases this year include bands like: The Lords of Altamont LP (Los Angeles)
