Quad Cities River Bandits Praise Congressional Effort to Save Minor League Baseball

DAVENPORT, IOWA (December 4, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits praised the newly-created Save Minor League Baseball Task Force, which has been organized by members of Congress to prevent Major League Baseball (MLB) from eliminating 42 minor league franchises, nearly one-quarter of all minor-league teams around the country.

DES MOINES, IOWA (November 25, 2019) — The Iowa State Fair is bringing one of country music's biggest stars to the 2020 Grandstand. Five time Grammy Award winner, Chris Stapleton, will play the Iowa State Fair Grandstand on Friday, August 21, at 8PM. Tickets go on sale Monday, December 2, 2019, at 10AM. This year marks Stapleton's first performance at the Iowa State Fair.
