DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 22, 2022) — Davenport Schools students are excelling at a new kind of sports competition, one that takes them to different realities, finds them in battles with monstrous creatures, and pits them against daunting tasks that sometimes defy the very laws of time and space.

Esports, competitive video gaming, has become a huge industry over the past decade, with many schools across the world founding their own teams to compete against rival schools.

OTTUMWA, IOWA (May 31, 2022) — Prescribed Films, an independent film group based out of Ottumwa, Iowa, presents Halloweenapalooza 2022, their annual horror film festival and celebration. Halloweenapalooza is Iowa’s premier film showcase, created by horror filmmakers for horror fans. The event will be held on October 7-8 at the Bridge View Center.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 6, 2022) — We will be hosting the first Rhythm City Casino Blue’s Night on Friday, July 15, 2022, 6:30PM, in the Event Center. Tickets are $25 and $35, plus applicable online/phone ticketing fee (this fee is waived when tickets are purchased at The Market Gift Shop inside Rhythm City Casino Resort). All ages are welcome to attend. Tickets in the ADA section are for patrons with mobility disabilities and up to three companions.
