MOLINE, ILLINOIS (June 11, 2021) — The Quad City Storm will open the 2021-2022 season Friday October 15, 2021, at the TaxSlayer Center. The game will be the first for the Storm since Sunday March 8, 2020, and will end a 505 day stretch without professional hockey in the Quad Cities.

The Storm’s full home schedule, opponents, road schedule and promotional schedule will all be announced later this Summer.

PEORIA, ILLINOIS (June 11, 2021) — Despite getting the tying and go-ahead runs into scoring position in the ninth, the Quad Cities River Bandits were held off by the Peoria Chiefs on Thursday as they lost their second-straight game by a score of 4-3.

PEORIA, ILLINOIS (June 10, 2021) — Despite out-hitting the opposition, the Quad Cities River Bandits saw their four-game win streak snapped on Wednesday as they fell to the Peoria Chiefs 4-3 at Dozer Park.

Pitching controlled the first third of the contest and saw Bandits’ starter A J Block, making his first start of the season, and the Chiefs’ Nick Trogrlic-Iverson post scoreless frames through the first three innings.

The visitors manufactured a run in the first with the combo of Thomas Jones’ lead-off hit-by-pitch and stolen-base that set up for Will Banfield’s run-scoring single off of Quad Cities’ starter, Anthony Veneziano.

DAYTON, OHIO (June 2, 2021) — In their first time back at Modern Woodmen Park since the second week of May, the Quad Cities River Bandits were shut out by the Beloit Snappers 7-0 on Tuesday in game one of the six-game series.

Down in the count 1-2 with two outs, Griffin Conine got the Snappers on the board first with a solo home-run off of River Bandits’ starter Zach Haake to take a 1-0 lead in the opening frame.
