Anthony Veneziano and Ben Gross worked scoreless first and second innings, with the only base-runner coming on a Seth Gray triple, which Veneziano stranded in the second.

Nick Loftin notched a lead-off single in the top of the first to extend his hitting-streak to 17 games, but was left stranded by Tyler Watson.
