MOLINE, ILLINOIS (July 14, 2021) — The Quad City Storm has finalized its schedule for the 2021-2022 season. The season will open October 15 at the TaxSlayer Center when the Storm battle the Evansville Thunderbolts. The final home game will be played on March 5 and the regular season concludes on the road in Peoria on Friday, April 8.

The Storm’s home schedule consists of nine Friday games, thirteen Saturday games, five Sunday games, and one Tuesday game.

BELOIT, WISCONSIN (July 14, 2021) — Backed by four long-balls, the Quad Cities River Bandits took game one of their six-game set against the Beloit Snappers on Tuesday and won their ninth one-run game of the year with a 6-5 final at Pohlman Field.

 

APPLETON, WISCONSIN (July 9, 2021) — The Quad Cities River Bandits were held to just two hits and one run of offense on Thursday, as they fell to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers by a score of 4-1 at Neuroscience Field at Fox Cities Stadium.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 1, 2021) — After being shut out in the series opener, the Quad Cities River Bandits got back to their offensive ways including a six-spot in the seventh inning that helped them top the Cedar Rapids Kernels 9-4 on Wednesday night at Modern Woodmen Park.

The Kernels matched Tuesday’s run total with their first swing of the bat as Edouard Julien took Zach Haake deep with a lead-off blast that gave his club a 1-0 lead in the first.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 30, 2021) — For the first time in 2021, the Quad Cities River Bandits found themselves on the losing end of a shut-out, as they dropped game one of their six-game series with the Cedar Rapids Kernels, 1-0.

Both Noah Murdock, Quad Cities’ starter, and Tyler Watson, Kernels’ starter, posted zeros in the first three frames, with Murdock stranding a walk and Watson working around John Rave’s single in the second.

BELOIT, WISCONSIN (June 28, 2021) — After a twenty-six-run, eleven-inning affair yesterday, the Quad Cities completed their largest comeback-win of the season on Sunday, as the Beloit Snappers held them without a base-runner until the ninth inning, yet rallied for ten runs within two frames to secure a 10-7 win at Pohlman Field.

BELOIT, WISCONSIN (June 28, 2021) — In their longest game of the year, the Quad Cities River Bandits smacked a season-high eighteen hits and scored in all but two innings of Saturday’s eleven-frame victory over the Beloit Snappers and secured at least a split of the six-game set with a 14-12 win at Pohlman Field.
