TEAM TRIVIA PARTY
The Independent Scholars' Evening and Celtic Heritage Trail of the Quad Cities present the third of their four presentations this Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 7 p.m. at the Moline Club in downtown Moline. This week's presentation starts with Celtic tunes performed on bagpipes by Dr. Kirk Witherspoon of Moline, Illinois. Dr. Witherspoon's performance will be followed by a presentation on Celtic Art by Black Hawk College Professor Emeritus and renowned Quad City artist, Bill Hannan of Moline, Illinois. Bill's presentation will include a discussion and views of early Celtic art with a foray into some contemporary examples. This presentation is free and open to the public.
The Independent Scholars' Evening and Celtic Heritage Trail of the Quad Cities present the second of their four presentations this Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 7 p.m. at the Moline Club in downtown Moline. This week's presentation starts with Celtic stories by Heather Nobiling of Moline, Illinois. Following Heather will the River Cities Reader winner of "Person We'd Like Most to Elect to Public Office (please correct the titles, Mr/Ms Editor)" and President of the Celtic Heritage Trail, Bill Fisher, of Moline, Illinois. Bill will give a presentation entitled, "Scots-Irish: the Best of Both Worlds." Admission is free and open to the public.

UFOlogist David Sereda hosts this video program that takes a look at previously-classified footage shot by NASA that shows unidentified flying objects up to 2-3 miles wide. The program is three hours long and will likely be broken into two 90 minute segments over two nights. The program is heavy on science, quantum physics and theory and is backed by indisputable evidence made by a federal government agency.
