Learn About QC Trails at this Library Program

Library in the Park Coming to a Park Near You

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 14, 2022) — The Davenport Public Library will be bringing the OWL (Outreach Wheeled Library) to four parks this summer for six weeks: Emeis, Goose Creek, Fejervary, and Harbor Road, 10AM-12PM, Monday-Thursday, June 21-July 28.

Red, White, and Boom Fireworks Display Set to Return July 3

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 3, 2022) — The annual bi-state Red, White and Boom in downtown Davenport and Rock Island returns this year on July 3, 2022. Family-friendly activities will take place throughout the day in Davenport and Rock Island. At 9:30 p.m. fireworks will be shot, in sync to music broadcast on 97X, from two barges in the middle of the Mississippi River.

Yoga and Stories in the Park

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 26, 2022) — The Davenport Public Library will be holding Yoga and Stories Fridays in June, Vander Veer Park, at 10AM.

This summer the library is bringing yoga and stories to Vander Veer Park! Bring your yoga mat or a towel and join us near the playground. Afterwards we'll have a fun craft and selected items available for check out from the OWL (Outreach Wheeled Library). Best for ages 4-10.
