Ruhland will begin tenure with soy checkoff in November

ST. LOUIS (August 23, 2017) – After an intensive search by a farmer-led team, the United Soybean Board (USB) has named Polly Ruhland as the new chief executive officer (CEO) effective November 1, 2017.

“Polly exceeded all of the attributes for what we as a board were looking for in a new CEO to lead us into the future,” says John Motter, USB chair and soybean farmer from Jenera, Ohio. 

Gorham Sweeps Iowa State Fair FFA Rabbit Show

DES MOINES, IA (08/23/2017) (readMedia)-- Mariah Gorham of Carroll won Market Best of Show in the FFA Rabbit Show judged Thursday at the 2017 Iowa State Fair.

Brooklyn Housley of Wayne was awarded Breeding Best of Show.

A total of 34 exhibitors from 22 chapters showed 191 animals in this year's competition.
