Super Cr3w in World of Dance Live! at the Adler Theatre -- October 25

Wednesday, October 25, 7:30 p.m.

Adler Theatre, 136 East Third Street, Davenport IA

Television stars from this past summer transform into autumnal stage stars when Davenport's Adler Theatre hosts the nationally touring World of Dance Live!, a night of astounding choreography featuring a half-dozen acts that appeared on NBC's hit reality-competition series.

World of Dance, which debuted on May 30, was hosted by Jenna Dewan Tatum (wife of Channing) and executive produced by Jennifer Lopez, and was recently renewed for a second season next summer. The series features performers – among them solo acts, larger groups, and youths – representing all dance styles competing for a grand prize of $1 million, with this past season's hopefuls judged by celebrities Lopez, Ne-Yo, and Derek Hough. Explaining that dance had been her “first form of artistic expression” from her days as one of In Living Color's Fly Girls, Lopez told Variety magazine that the series “reminded me of all the reasons why I love dance and why I wanted to do this in the first place.”

In addition to a performance by YouTube sensations Elektro Botz, who performed on the Orlando leg of the Wold of Dance Live! tour, the Adler's lineup will include six dance acts from this summer's TV series: 14-year-old Eva Igo, who won second place in the show's August 8 World Finals; Super Cr3w, season-two champions from MTV's America's Best Dace Crew; 11-year-old Diana Pombo, who made World of Dance's Division Finals; the Mihacevich Sisters, a trio of Ohio-based siblings who have won several national dance titles; New York-based dance duo DNA, boasting the talents of Denys Drozdyuk and Antonina Skobina; and Luka & Jenalyn, cabaret and ballroom dancers from Toronto, Canada.

Tickets to World of Dance Live! Are $35-65, and for tickets to the October 25 event, call (800)745-3000 or visit AdlerTheatre.com.
