With the Davenport venue partnering alongside the German American Heritage Center and Museum for programming during the exhibit's run, the Figge Art Museum will house Fever Dreams: German Expressionism in the Lewis Gallery from June 21 through December 7, this arresting exhibition featuring loans from the David and Sarojini Johnson Print Collection, and showcased in conjunction with the GAHC's companion exhibit German Expressionist Prints from the Johnson Collection.

A dazzling, visually rich celebration of fascinating felines and the artists who love them, Cats! (the exhibit, not the musical) can be viewed in the third-floor gallery of Davenport's Figge Art Museum through January 4, this rich showcase inspired by our four-legged friends boasting works from both the museum's collection and on loan, and on display through the aid of contributing sponsors Carrie Kimple and Sue Quail.

With the exhibition made possible through generous funding from Art Bridges Foundation, and with KLJB FOX 18 serving as media sponsor, the fascinating collaborative exhibit CHAIN RE·AC·TION will be on view in the Figge Art Museum's Mary Waterman Gildehaus Community Gallery through September 28, visitors to the Davenport venue invited to witness the art experience's continuous cycle of inspiration, reflection, and response.

From now through January 4, masterworks on loan from the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will be presented throughout the Figge’s Art Museum's permanent collection galleries, with the exhibition Art Bridges: Partner Loan Network dedicated to bringing American art out of museum vaults and placing it on view in communities across the United States.

Original works by nearly 100 juried regional and national artists will be on hand at the September 20 and 21 Riverssance Festival of Fine Art, with the 37th Lindsay Park event, hosted by Quad City Arts, boasting a children’s art-activity tent, food and beverage vendors, live music, and the presenting of Carolyn Krueger with the prestigious Harley Award, an honor given to an individual who has affected the arts and artists in the Quad Cities during their lifetime.

A series of beautiful and expressive serigraph prints by Black Hawk College alum Jae Florence Corales are on display in the college's ArtSpace Gallery through 26, with Pearl of the Orient Seas showcasing new works by the Filipino visual artist, graphic designer, and filmmaker currently based in Augusta, Georgia.

On September 25, art lovers are invited to Davenport's Figge Art Museum to hear artist Kristin Quinn reflect on the works in her exhibit Luminous Flux Paintings from the Watershed, with Figge Co-Senior Curator Joshua Johnson leading the conversation on this arresting collection designed to capture the sensation of the memory of a place – its mood, its texture, its atmosphere – through imagery and abstraction.

Patrons of the University of Dubuque's Bisignano Art Gallery are invited to explore a bold interplay of hue and texture as the venue opens its first exhibit of the 2025-26 season, the arresting exhibition In Search of Color: Tom Yunt on display through September 26.

On September 4, patrons of Davenport's Figge Art Museum are invited to explore a period of artistry, innovation, and cultural richness in a special Curator Talk held in conjunction with The Golden Age: Featuring Northern European Works from the Collection of the National Gallery of Art, an exhibition showcase of masterpieces from one of the world's finest collections.

With the colorful and arresting exhibit on display through August 31, a closing celebration and artist talk on the footwear-themed exhibit Future Now: Virtual Sneakers to Cutting-Edge Kicks will be held at Davenport's Figge Art Museum on August 28, the evening featuring a captivating talk by award-winning virtual shoe designer Antonio Arocho Hernández, whose works are featured in the exhibit.
