With the event moderated by art therapist Dana Keeton, Figge Art Museum guests are invited, on March 13, to hear from a panel of healthcare professionals, family caretakers, and patients in the early stages of Alzheimer's as they discuss the impact of dementia on those who are directly impacted and their caretakers, the presentation held in conjunction with the Davenport venue's current exhibition Louise Kames: I Don't See Anything That's Not Beautiful.

Taking place in advance of their new exhibition's official opening, artists Cara and Diego Romero, the creative forced behind Days of Futures Past, will discuss their interrelated artistic practices and how they approach societal and cultural issues in their art, their March 6 conversation at the Figge Art Museum moderated by the Davenport venue's senior co-curator Vanessa Sage.

In celebration of National Quilters Week, the Figge Art Museum will showcase a number of colorful and hand-crafted functional artworks in the February 25 through March 7 Mississippi Valley Quilter's Guild Exhibition, with a special Appreciation Night for the exhibit's gifted artisans scheduled for February 27.

On February 6, art lovers are invited to celebrate the christening of the newly named John Deere Gallery at Davenport's Figge Art Museum, its walls featuring selections from the remarkable John Deere Art Collection. Visitors to the museum will have the opportunity to experience these internationally significant works of art, many of which were previously accessible only within John Deere’s corporate facilities.
