These awards recognize programs, projects and professionals who are setting the standard for innovation and leadership in advancing housing opportunities for Iowans.

DES MOINES, IOWA (June 20, 2025) — In celebration of National Homeownership Month, the Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) and Iowa REALTORS® have announced two statewide initiatives, one for future homeowners and another for industry professionals, to elevate the importance of home-ownership across Iowa.

DES MOINES, IOWA (January 29, 2025) — The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) and Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH), a national leader in supportive housing, today announced that seven teams will participate in Iowa’s inaugural Iowa Supportive Housing Institute. The Institute is a six-month training series that will focus on developing strategic and income-targeted affordable housing with support services for those Iowans with the highest needs who are also experiencing homelessness.

DES MOINES, IOWA (January 9, 2025) — The Iowa Finance Authority Board of Directors recently approved more than $5.7 million in grants to assist 48 agencies with homelessness assistance initiatives during the 2025 calendar year.
