DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 25, 2023) — The Quad Cities Chamber presents Hob Nosh, 5-8PM, on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the Bend XPO Center in East Moline. For the first time since 2018, the Chamber’s largest after-hours networking event returns where hundreds of local professionals will converge to connect with some of the region’s top leaders during a night of food and beverage tastings, live music, games, and prizes.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (March 29, 2023) — On February 13, 2023, the Rock Island City Council approved an agreement for the Quad Cities Chamber to manage the City’s downtown special service area (SSA) and provide place management services through the creation of the Rock Island Downtown Alliance (Downtown Alliance or RIDA). Pursuant to the Downtown Alliance Governance and Board Bylaws, the organization shall have a Board of Directors composed of thirteen voting members:

A QC Boomeranger is someone who was born and raised in the Quad Cities, moved away for an extended period, and then decided to move back to the Quad Cities. In essence, they boomeranged back home.

Leadership QC is a program for experienced community leaders and innovative thinkers who want to enhance their leadership skills. They will meet for a full-day once a month for nine months.
