The Rock Island Downtown Alliance and Quad Cities Bicycle Club are hosting a free breakfast for bicycle commuters 6-10AM, Friday, at Schwiebert Riverfront Park. Participants will be treated to breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and coffee from Theo’s Java Café right off the Great River Trail at the entrance to the park.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (May 7, 2024) — Sixty-four high-school students from throughout the QC will sign to express their commitment to becoming apprentices at twenty employers in six different fields of work at the Vibrant Arena at The Mark, 1201 River Drive, Moline, on Wednesday, May 8, 4-5PM. Doors open at 3:30PM to accommodate arriving students, families, and employers.
