BETTENDORF, IOWA (January 27, 2023) — The Quad Cities Chamber is pleased to announce sixteen individuals have joined the second cohort of Leadership QC. Leadership QC is a program for experienced community leaders and innovative thinkers who want to enhance their leadership skills. They will meet for a full-day once a month for nine months.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 14, 2022) — A new event in a newly-created space is coming to downtown Davenport. German Fest will be held 6–10PM, Friday, October 14, 2022, in Kaiserslautern Square (K-Square), 119 E 3rd St. The event is co-produced by the German American Heritage Center (GAHC) and Downtown Davenport Partnership (DDP).

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (October 5, 2022) — The Quad Cities Chamber is now accepting applications for its second cohort of Leadership QC, a program that builds skills and drive within professionals who seek to play a larger role in the success of our region.

The program, launched in January 2022, was created by the Chamber to cultivate a generation of leaders that are connected and inspired to make the Quad Cities region a community all citizens are proud to call home.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 3, 2022) The Iowa Business Council (IBC) will hold a Vision to Vitality forum with Quad Cities area business leaders on Tuesday, October 4, 3:30–5:00PM, at the Eastern Iowa Community College Urban Campus.  The forum will be cohosted by John Deere Vice President Jerred Pauwels.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (July 26, 2022) — Downtown Rock Island property-owners seeking to stabilize their investment and revitalize downtown submitted a proposal to the Rock Island City Council on Monday, July 25, formally requesting it to consider establishing a Special Service Area (SSA) in partnership with a new Quad Cities Chamber place-management organization.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 22, 2022) — The 2022 Alternating Currents festival will showcase 120+ live performances, film screenings, and art-related events from Thursday to Sunday, August 18-21, at more than 25 venues between two Downtown Quad Cities: Davenport and Rock Island.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 3, 2022) — The annual bi-state Red, White and Boom in downtown Davenport and Rock Island returns this year on July 3, 2022. Family-friendly activities will take place throughout the day in Davenport and Rock Island. At 9:30 p.m. fireworks will be shot, in sync to music broadcast on 97X, from two barges in the middle of the Mississippi River.
