The seminar will feature Kyle Day, attorney with Lane and Waterman,LLP, who will present on how to harness this unique new incentive and maximize its impact.

EAST MOLINE, ILLINOIS (August 7, 2019) — The Quad Cities Chamber will host its Annual Celebration, presented by TBK Bank, starting at 4PM on Thursday, August 15, 2019, at The Rust Belt, 533 12th Avenue, East Moline.

QUAD CITIES (July 23, 2019) — Nominations are now being accepted for the Quad Cities Business of the Year, to be awarded at the Quad Cities Chamber’s Annual Celebration on Thursday, August 15, 2019.

Any Quad Cities Chamber members are encouraged to apply for the Business of the Year award. To apply, please submit information on how the Chamber-member business is addressing any of the factors listed below that apply. Not all criteria listed below need to be met.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 23, 2019) — The Downtown Davenport Partnership (DDP) annual meeting was held on Tuesday highlighting 2018-2019 downtown growth, flood-relief grant-funding, and a look toward the future of downtown development.

QUAD CITIES (February 7, 2019) — Today, the Illinois State Senate voted to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour. The bill increased the state’s minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2025 and $13 an hour for those under 18 by 2025. The total vote was 39-18. The Quad Cities Chamber worked closely with Senator Neil Anderson to secure his “no” vote.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (February 5, 2019) — The Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce joined other business groups throughout the state of Illinois in opposition to raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour, over the next 4 years. The current minimum wage in Illinois is $8.25 per hour. The bill is expected to be heard in a Senate committee this week.
