ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (April 22, 2021) — Quad City Arts is pleased to present the 5th annual Chalk Art Fest, live and in-person this summer!  While last year’s event went virtual with artists chalking up their driveways, porches, and sidewalks, we are thrilled to host this year’s event in the beautiful setting of Schwiebert Riverfront Park, in downtown Rock Island, directly across the street from Quad City Arts headquarters and gallery.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (February 9, 2021) — A contemporary jazz pianist, a multi-instrumental string quartet, and a Scottish folk/pop/rock group will all be featured as part of Quad City Arts’ Performing Arts Signature Series spring season, which will continue with a “virtual dinner and show” format through the end of April.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (October 6, 2020) — Quad City Arts’ subscription series of benefit parties featuring artists from the Visiting Artist Series program will move online this fall with a virtual “dinner and a show”.

 

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (July 16, 2020) — Quad City Arts’ 4th Annual Chalk Art Fest will move online this year, as the in-person event that was scheduled to take place August 29-30 in downtown Bettendorf has been canceled. Out of concern for the well-being of the community, the downtown Bettendorf Organization and Quad City Arts have decided not to move forward with the event.

 

DAVENPORT, IOWA (November 6, 2019) — Festival of Trees is in its 34th year as the annual fundraiser for Quad City Arts and as the unofficial kick-off to the holiday season. Over 30,000 people experience this 10-day event each year and an additional 45,000 watch the Holiday Parade, making this event one of the largest attractions in the Quad Cities.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (August 7, 2019) — Portraits and stories from the Village of Milan were captured this summer by photography students from the Metro Arts Youth Apprenticeship program with direction from lead artist Clint Balsar. Similar to the popular Humans of New York photoblog series, photography students traversed through the town and collected interesting stories and photographs along the way, in an attempt to capture the spirit and essence of the people of Milan.
