JOHNSTON, IA - September 15, 2017 - A trade team from the Taiwan Feed Industry Association visited Iowa this week and met with Iowa Corn leaders as part of a Goodwill Mission to build contacts between Taiwanese agricultural leaders and Iowa farmers and suppliers.

With less than 48 hours remaining, I call on all farmers to submit comments to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on the proposed Renewable Volume Obligations (RVO) for the 2018. While the proposed RVO has corn-based ethanol at the level intended by Congress, it would lower the cellulosic and advanced volumes. These reductions equate to a 73-million-gallon reduction for cellulosic and a 40-million-gallon reduction for total renewable fuel when compared to 2017.

VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON, August 2, 2017 - Deb Keller, a farmer from Clarion, Iowa, was elected as U.S. Grains Council (USGC) Chair on Wednesday at the organization's 57th Annual Board of Delegates Meeting in Vancouver, Washington. Keller, who represents Iowa Corn farmers with her USGC board seat, is a second-generation farmer and the past chair of the Iowa Corn Promotion Board. She will be the first woman to serve as Chair in USGC's 60-year history.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 25, 2017) - Iowa Corn Growers Association (ICGA) Director Bruce Rohwer, a farmer from O'Brien County, testified in front of the Senate Agriculture Committee hearing today on the importance of crop insurance and commodity title program in the 2018 Farm Bill in helping farmers survive sustained low commodity prices.

Each year Iowa Corn hosts roundtable meetings in local communities across the state to gather input and feedback from growers. The meetings, which will be held on July 6, July 12 and July 13 this year, allow ICGA members to come together, share a meal, and discuss key issues impacting corn farmers.
