Scott County Sheriff's Office: Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries Belmont Rd September 1

SCOTT COUNTY, IOWA (September 1, 2026) — On September 1, 2026, at approximately 0738 hrs, Scott Emergency Communications Center received a report of an injury accident involving a motorcycle and a vehicle in front of the Pleasant Valley High School located at 604 Belmont Road in Riverdale.

Belmont Road is a four-lane road which runs east/west in front of the high school.

Train Collides with Garbage Truck in Pleasant Valley

DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 2, 2024) — On 1 August 2024 at approximately 1234 hours, Scott Emergency Communications received a report of an accident involving a train and truck in the area of the Pleasant Valley Amoco. Units from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, along with Bettendorf Fire Department and MEDIC EMS were dispatched. Bettendorf Police Department also responded to assist.
