FAYETTE, IOWA (October 19, 2023) — The Board of Trustees at Upper Iowa University has named Kathy Franken as the University's 22nd President. This would also be a milestone in UIU history as Franken is the first woman president to lead the University.

FAYETTE, IOWA (September 6, 2023) — Upper Iowa University (UIU) has been named a Military Friendly Top 10 Spouse School Award recipient in the private university, not offering a doctorate, category for 2023-24. UIU currently holds a Military Friendly Top 10 Gold School Award for 2023-2024 in the private university, not offering a doctorate category for current military and veterans.
