CORALVILLE, IOWA (September 9, 2024) — Walk, Bike, and Roll to School Day is back this fall on October 9, and schools across Iowa are gearing up to participate in this exciting event promoting active transportation and healthier, more connected communities. Following the success of last May’s event, which saw over forty schools across Iowa take part, there is still plenty of time for more schools to join in.

This strong turnout has earned Iowa the distinction of being ranked eleventh in the nation for the most schools participating per capita in this important initiative.

CORALVILLE, IOWA (June 5, 2023) — The Iowa Bicycle Coalition, a leading organization dedicated to promoting bicycling as a safe and enjoyable means of transportation and recreation, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a grant from the Governor's Traffic Safety Bureau. The grant will enable the Iowa Bicycle Coalition to develop and implement an innovative program called Bike Rodeo in a Box.
